What is the difference between Pre-Qualified vs. Pre-Approved?

Pre-qualified is a quick, informal process where a lender estimates how much you might be able to borrow based on basic financial information provided. Its a great starting point but does NOT guarantee loan approval

Pre-Approval is a deeper, more detailed process where the lender reviews your financial documents like income, assets and credit score to give you a specific loan amount they’re willing to offer. This shows sellers that you’re a serious, qualified buyer. This will also speed up the process when you have a seller accept your offer on a house.
